HOW TO HELP YOUR SKIN STAY HYDRATED

Today are the Oscars, which means this past week was full of events! That also means wearing makeup daily which can take a toll on your skin. At least it does to mine. Whether you have events like these lined up or just a busy week of work/school, I truly believe that if you want to have a flawless face, you must work on your skin. That means doing the usual of eating specific foods and drinking lots of water but using the right products takes it to a whole new level. I partnered with Neutrogena to share with my readers how I stay hydrated with the new Hydro Boost collection. This line was created to instantly quench the skin leaving it hydrated and refreshed!

I started off every morning using Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Cleanser. One to two pumps in my palm and then I gently rubbed it all over my face and washed it off with cold water. Then, I moved over to the Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum for the face and eyes. I really loved the face and eye serum! The moment I dabbed it onto my skin, I naturally felt hydrated and had a glow! They are oil-free which I loved because even though my only oily zone is my T zone, that section tends to get oily constantly!

I then moved on to the Hydro Boost Water Gel. It leaves your skin cool, refreshed, and extremely hydrated. Wearing this throughout the week under my makeup made my face look really refreshed! Using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Tint was new for me. I had never used Neutrogena tints/foundations. This tint is so light weight but covered so good! I love the brush that is in the bottle for a clean brush on application. The tint stayed on and did not get greasy the times I wore it which was so important for me as I was on the go throughout the day.

One of my favorite products of the whole collection has to be the Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer. It comes in 5 different shades! When it comes to concealers, it’s hard to find one that doesn’t crease, isn’t heavy, but fully covers. This concealer gave the appearance that I wasn’t wearing any with the ability to give me full coverage. It’s so hydrating on the skin, specially unlike many other stick concealers that get chalky.

Finally for lips, I naturally choose to go the nudes route. My Hydro Boost Lip Shine was in the color, Soft Blush. It goes on very smoothly and the tint of it is so similar to my natural lip shade which I like. The lip shine made my lips feel smooth, soft, plump, and hydrated. It doesn’t have that thick sticky consistency which I liked. If you’re more a bold lip type of gal, the shine comes in 8 shades! When I wasn’t wearing the lip shine, I wore the Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment religiously! It’s amazing for immediate conditioning of your lips. You can use it as a primer before color, but I liked it alone.

At night, after I removed my makeup, I repeated the cleansing steps and finished with the lip treatment.

After a week-long of events, today is the last day and you would have never guessed that I’ve been wearing makeup every day for almost 12-14 hours long. My skin looks and feels so hydrated! If you haven’t tried the new Hydro Boost collection, I recommend you do so. I truly have enjoyed and fell in love with it and I hope you do so too.

xoxo
